How do I initially connect OpsCompass: AWS

OpsCompass needs read-only access to your environment. The individual who typically installs enterprise applications for your company will need to push the button to authorize OpsCompass initially.

1.) The individual who can authorize enterprise applications for your company needs to navigate to OpsCompass as the initial user. This allows OpsCompass to be connected as an enterprise application with read-only access. (After the steps on this page are completed by that individual, anyone given permission by that user can log in to OpsCompass). 

 

2.) On the “Get Started” sign in page, enter your email and a new password.

3.) Click the “Sign Up” button.

4.) Enter your name.

5.) Verify your email (check your spam folder if it is not in your inbox).

6.) Once verified, refresh your OpsCompass page.

7a.) The user will be prompted to add at least one AWS Organization. Follow the listed steps within OpsCompass.

7b.) If your company uses separation of duties, a user with an administrator role can follow the instructions here to add organizations.

8.) That is it! We will capture a high fidelity snapshot of your AWS Organizations and begin calculating a cloud compliance score.
