How do I connect a ServiceNow integration?

In order to add an integration with a workflow management platform the user must have the appropriate role ("Integrations Owner") in OpsCompass - then follow the steps below.

1.) The user with the Integrations Owner role will click on "Integrations" from the drop down menu in the top right corner of OpsCompass.

2.) Click "Add Integration" on the appropriate Integration (in this case Service Now... Jira and others coming soon).

3.) Follow the steps on the screen:

    • Create an OpsCompass User in ServiceNow with permission to create and modify incidents
    • Enter that user's login info (along with the location of the ServiceNow Instance)

4.) Click "Connect"


OpsCompass will now be able to create and modify incidents in ServiceNow that are directly related to any future Compliance Drift that we detect in your cloud accounts.
