What is Breached Data?

OpsCompass constantly checks if your company's email addresses have been involved in a data breach

OpsCompass can monitor email addresses associated with your company and check to see if any emails have been associated with a data breach.

OpsCompass uses the service HaveIBeenPwned behind the scenes to check if an email has been involved in a data breach. All HaveIBeenPwned services are hosted in a West US Microsoft Azure data center.

At the moment, OpsCompass checks emails from connected Microsoft365 tenants. If an email in the connected Microsoft365 tenant has been involved in a breach, you can view the data in three tabs:

  1. Accounts of Concern: Emails that have been involved in a breach, and the user account password has not been changed since the breach occurred.

  2. Total Users Breached: All emails that have been involved in a breach.

  3. Breaches: The list of breaches the emails in your organization have been involved in, and additional information about each breach.

OpsCompass checks for new emails in your company multiple times a day and checks for new breaches every Saturday.
